Using a graphic card with youyeetoo x1

I installed a PCI-E X4 adapter in the nvme slot (M.2) and connected the Intel Arc A380, but the VGA card is not recognized in the BIOS. Power to the VGA is supplied from another power supply unit. I tried changing the primary display to “PCI” in the BIOS and changing various BIOS settings, but it does not seem to be recognized as VGA. When I try it with ASROCK’s DeskMini 110 Series(nvme slot) in the same external VGA environment, the video output is successful, so I think it is not a power supply problem but a limitation in the BIOS. In addition to the Arc video card, I also tried low-power graphics boards such as the nvidia k420 and radeon, but none of them can output video with “X1”. Is there any special setting required in the BIOS to output video from M.2? The BIOS is currently updated to the latest version.

Can you share the model number of your graphics card?

Also, would you consider sending the graphics card to us for debug?

We will cover the shipping costs for returning it to you.

Unfortunately, I can’t ship it because the video card is already installed. I needed to cram a PC into an XBOX ONE case, so I initially planned to install the X1 and Intel Arc into the XBOX. While I was trying to figure it out, my room got cluttered, so I purchased an ASUS motherboard (mini-stx) and completed the installation. My test environment may not be clear, so I’ve attached a photo. I purchased the X1 (16GB + no eMMC) model from Amazon. I previously did something similar with the Deskmini A300, so I thought I could do the same with the X1, but it didn’t work. I searched for examples of similar attempts with the X1, but couldn’t find any, so I decided to ask. I wanted to know if it was possible given the specifications.

Got it.

Is this DIY for personal use?

Can I use this graphics card after entering the system?

This is purely a DIY project for fun.

When connected to the video card, if start Windows 11 using the onboard output and check Device Manager, only the onboard device will be displayed under Display Adapter.

After powering on the video card, the video card fan will run at full speed (this is normal behavior). However, after powering on the X1, the fan speed will decrease and the device will appear to be recognized, but video output will not be possible.
