RTSP url issue from IP cam

Hi,

I’m having trouble with an RTSP stream from an IP camera that I want to stream as NDI. In the “Decode” section, in one of the “Net” rows, I enter the camera’s URL and enable it. This is the method I’ve used for another IP camera, and it worked. Then I go to the “Stream” section and in the “NDI conf.” section, I enable the “Net” stream. This has worked before, but not with this stream. The URL syntax for this camera is different from others, and I don’t know if this could be the problem.

This is: rtsp://192.168.0.115:554/user=admin&password=&channel=1&stream=0.sdp?

If I test it in VLC, it works, but in the encoder, when I enable the stream as NDI, the device screen freezes and the NDI streams no longer appear (I have HDMI and SDI enabled) in the NDI monitor app, for example.

I contacted the manufacturer, but they replied that this is the correct syntax and there are no other options. I tried creating a password for the camera so that the “password” field wouldn’t be empty and cause a problem, but I wasn’t able to create it with the provided application.
The camera is this one:

Thank you very much for your attention.

Best regards.

Hi,

I’ve solved it. I entered the suggested URL and in the “Encode” section, I only used “Enable.” Then, in the “Stream” section, I disabled RTSP for the Net stream, and in the “NDI Config” section, I enabled Net. There’s a curious thing: if I change the name of the Net source stream, the device freezes, but if I leave it as the default, everything works.

Best regards.
