RPLIDAR A1 Lidar jetson nano and ROS issue

I recently ordered a rpLidar A1 from youyeetoo, I have it connected to a jetson nano that has ROS properly installed but when I run the command rostopic echo /scan the terminal just outputs the number 47 over and over again. What might be happening and how can I go about troubleshooting this?

Try adding a line to rplidar_a1.launch

Since you did not provide detailed steps and reference steps. I don’t really understand your actual problem.
