Problem report for BPI-R3 Serial Number 3803000300

Please see below problem report for BPI-R3 Serial Number 3803000300

  1. When Jumper is set to SW1-A (SD), the sd card is not being read. The same SD card with the image works on other BananaPi. Please see the attached log “bp-cant-boot-from-sdcard.txt” for the console output during this time. When Jumper is set to SW1-B (NAND), the NAND image loads but sometimes when issuing reboot command, the memory seems corrupted and BananaPi boots into bad state where interfaces are not working well and there are a lot of SQUASHFS errors during bootup (see attached syslog file).

  1. See below image of setup

syslog file1:bp-cant-boot-from-sdcard
syslog file2:bp-cant-boot-from-sdcard

  1. we checked bp-cant-boot-from-sdcard.txt , but we didn’t found the problems, it just showed uboot download the document via tftp. And we found the you use OPENWRT official 23.05 image, not BPI openwrt image. We suggest you can check the code of uboot, and modify it.
  2. On the other side, we checked syslog_nand_badboot_squashfs.txt, and it seems that OPENWRT official 23.05 squashfs image with some problems, or maybe the image you burn in nand is not complete, it was a burning problem.
  3. Because you use OPENWRT official image and code, BPI doesnot maintain it. Please refer to our suggestions and try to modify the image, or you can provide the problems on OPENWRT official forum.

Hope our suggestions can help you.
