Bought a NanoPi R6C a few months back, and have just been running FriendlyWRT off a MicroSD card. Decided to upgrade and run of the eMMC card.
The eMMC tools page in the FriedlyWRT web console says:
ERROR: eMMC was not detected
Reason: you may press and hold Mask key for too long time.
Please try the below steps:
(1) Keep the SD card (with FriendlyWrt installed) in the slot;
(2) Press and hold Mask key, and then unplug and re-plug the power adapter;
(3) Wait for 4 seconds, then release the Mask key;
(4) The device will boot from SD card and re-detect the eMMC;
Attempting that with the mask button results in the unit not booting. I’ve tried many different timings.
Dowloading an “eflasher” image and booting that, it comes up and complains that it can’t detect an eMMC, on the HDMI display, and just hangs.
Any ideas on why it can’t find the eMMC?
