When running the build it complains that python2 is not installed and bails out. python2 has been removed entirely
I managed to compile u-boot after converting the python 2 scripts to python 3 and changing the name python2 to python3 in those scripts.
This works with the Ubuntu SDK
Not luck with the Debian SDK as it barfs when trying to do the recovery part.
By the way I have no interest in ubuntu or debian since I only use Gentoo. I need to get something to boot my gentoo rootfs. I would rather use kernel 6 though, not the old kernel that is used in Debian or Ubuntu.
