CM3588 and green led drive lights

Hi there.

I installed a CM3588 system and added a new Samsung nvme drive.

It all works fine, but when the drive is idle the green led flashes at a very high rate of speed.

It does flash on and off as I would expect when copying or reading files, but when idle the green led just flashes at high speed.

Should the green light be on constantly when the drive is idle ?

I’m mainly just curious.

Does it show the same phenomenon in your other devices? Like on a PC.

Thanks for your reply. No. This is specific to the CM3588 board and has nothing to do with any other PC.

See the attached photo. The green light is on almost solid all the time when the drive is idle.
